Too Late
Reminiscing on what used to be
Realizing what he didn’t see
Way back then all these feelings were a mystery
Now any chance is history
Because it was him she used to love
Who she put no one above
But he wanted to stay friends
And now he pretends
That he doesn’t want to spend
Any time on her in the end
They drifted apart
Barely talk anymore
But his feelings for her are strong
That he is sure
But she likes this new guy
Who could care less
And she comes to him for advice
So in his replies he tries to confess
That he realizes his mistake
But she doesn’t catch the hints
And if she does it’s probably too late
