Winter Wonderland
Home alone, she just needs to escape this world
She’s tired of being that nobody knows kind of girl
It’s turning fall, but she’s in love with winter
She’s hooked on that feeling of snow
The icy wind cuts deep in her veins like a splinter
And it feels good she just won’t let you know
It sends her to a Winter Wonderland
A place only she’s experienced firsthand
It is the perfect escape from reality
A feeling of immortality
It chills her nose
The way the wind blows
Everything there seems right
It’s perfect despite
When day turns to night
She has to come back to where nothing is alright
But this time is different, this time is strange
She thinks she’s going to stay the night for a change
She hears her name being called, but lets it go
She’s way past the point anyone would still know
There is yelling, then her father kicks down the bathroom door
On the counter is a needle and his daughter dead on the floor
