Of padded walls,
And empty halls,
Of clouded minds,
Of a heart confined,
Of quiet voices
And difficult choices.

Of sterile gloves,
Of merciless loves,
Of thoughts gone
And a mind that can't go on.

This is you,
with nothing to do,
From your mother's womb
To your lonely tomb.
