My family
Someone in my family has a disease called untreatable depression.
I took care of my brothers when no one could.
Every time we rush my mom to the hospital I fear it will be the last time I see her.
And sometimes I wonder will I be like her.
All I can do is hope and pray and hope and pray and hope and pray.
I can hope for a better life.
I can pray for the medicine to help my mom
I pray everyday and ask god why did he give this disease to my mom.
I pray everyday and ask god to help me get through the day without being scared.
Every month my mom get ECT's done.
ECT is a shock in your brain that helps the brain function better.
It's hard because I might not get to see her ever again.
It's also hard because she is tired after it.
It's also hard because I'm stressed every time she does it.
Sometimes I can't focus.
Sometimes I want to hide in a hole and die.
But when I see her when I get home I forget all my worries.
And I'm happy again.
And when I see my brothers I'm happy.
And most importantly my mom is ok.
So when you are feeling alone talk to your family.
They know what to say.
And if you can't talk to your family talk to a teacher.
They are the best people when you are sad.
I did and I'm happy that I did I wouldn't finish this poem without them.
