Girls
Every girl uses make up to cover their face,
To cover up the imperfections, to become “perfect”.
Some girls cut themselves because of what you say, they just need an escape.
Girls starve themselves to be skinnier, and take pills to lose weight.
A lot of girls smoke, and do drugs because it’s cool.
People still don’t accept girls for being lesbian or bisexual
but love is love.
There is no wrong or right way
Being transgender, it’s morally wrong? For not feeling right the way you are.
“I can’t believe she committed suicide”, “She seemed so normal”
Hypocritically people say in surprise, when she’s in a two foot wide and six foot deep grave.
No one cared about her
Or in what she felt
Or what she taught
Or what she say
In this occasion who is there to blame?
Now do you think it’s funny?
When they try to change every aspect in every way
Now do you think of what you say?
Now do you take it back?
Now do you take back what you did?
You should.
Because every girl is perfect in their own way.
No matter how many “imperfections”, flaws, and problems they’ll have.
It doesn’t matter, you’re perfect in every beautiful way.

I wrote this piece so people can know what society has turned this girls generation into. With this poem I want girls to realise to not pay attention to people, labels, products, and sizes this dosen't matter. Its what's inside that counts.
