We all gather ‘round
And watch golden light
Flicker and dance
Over page after page
Ebony breeze lifts soot
Into the air like ravens fly
Float high above us
And descend to the ground
Ashes everywhere
They darken the sky
We all just gather ‘round
And watch the golden light
Words turned soot
“To be or not to be”
But we all just gather round
Watch that book burn to the ground
