Abundant and natural. Hand picked by the best. Extracted from the deepest roots in the richest soil.
But the bruised skin left them no choice but to throw me in the pile of compost.
I want to say things. I want do things.
But I sit here motionless. Thinking.
I want to sing the songs of the billions of souls that crossed the Earth's path to the largest audience in record.
But I sit here motionless. Thinking.
I want to walk from one end to the other end of the planet so fast that I'd need more than one watch to track the time zones I have passed.
But I sit here motionless. Thinking.
I want to act the history of the world in a single play in the oldest theater alive.
But I sit here motionless. Thinking.
I want to paint the universe on a canvas so small that only the smallest of the smallest can see anything at all.
But I sit here motionless. Thinking.
I want to dance through the era of times and meet the people of change to only be influenced to create change.
But I sit here motionless. Thinking.
I want to stop thinking so badly that the blood from my veins has coiled into the shape of my broken heart- only to tell me that my body is frozen in time.
A vegetable I am.

The author's comments:

Sometimes, I feel like I just sit there blindly wondering about my future aspirations in life only to realize the only way I can acheive them is if I forge straight towards them with long confident strides. But that can be hard to do when you feel like you are stuck in a place that limits you from reaching your goals.
