When I close my eyes.
I fade away.
I take a trip in memory lane. ~
I remember the first day we met.
Then I float away to a magical place.
A place where only two people exist.
Just you and I. ~
With you, I know it'll be alright.
Life goes on around me.
While I just wait.
However, I don't mind.
I just hope you're safe. ~
I miss you so much.
Sometimes my heart aches.
Even though we're so far apart.
You'll always be here beside me. <3 ~

I wrote this poem for a boy I once loved. To be honest, he's the only one I'll ever love. This poem will always mean a lot to me. He was my world. Today we aren't together. Mistakes were made, but I'll always remember him. <3
