Untouchable
The untouched forests,
so carefully preserved.
Still as they were years ago.
Untouched.
The lakes and streams,
like the forests, are as clear as ever.
So clear you can see a pebble 12 feet down.
The home to wildlife of all sorts.
Many animals roam about.
From the various fish to the numerous deer
that inhabit the land.
This is a world of its own.
Even after all the things we use it for,
it still is as perfect as before.
A place of peace for some,
or a place to exploit for others.
Some pass it by,
others stay for a while.
But never unseen,
and always untouchable.
