Is It The Flu?

Is it the flu?
?I haven’t a clue.
?Maybe Ebola.?
Or just pneumonia.?
I know I’m sick.
?Hey there,?Think quick.
?I could be dying.
?That’s why I’m crying.
?What medicine am I taking?
?Why am I aching?
?It could be worse.
?Bed ridden at first.
?Six months to live.
?My clock is ticking,?As time goes away.
?I’ll write you from heaven.
?Yes that’s where I’ll stay.

One of my friends recently had the flu and ebola was in the news at the time. We started calling him ebola. I took these two thoughts and my passion for writing poetry to make this poem.
