Snow covered hills
Outside my dawning walls
Out there in the cold
Where they inherently belong

They’re marvelous, they are
Standing tall and grand
Sparkling white, feverishly bright
The best in all the land

The snow covered hills, subjects
Don’t think their rule suffice
Hold secrets and lies and many tales
Incased in the forbidden ice

If those secrets were splattered
Those lies released like birds
Those tales adulterated
A torrential reign would drown the world

With impending ice detached
Snow much quicker than the rain
The covered hills succumb to nude
Sending their garments to our domain

The heaping dirty laundry
Would congeal in brownish fibs
Cover our ears and plug our mouths
Pact itself in the eye’s crib

The avalanche of time
Would take its toll no doubt
That is why the covered hills
Remain there on the mount

Left untouched and dormant
With beauty we can’t explain
To be sovereign and ominous
Like a monarchial campaign
