Mother Nature
Your voice is an annoyance.
You say I'm like talking to the wall,
but when I ask for you to hear me out,
I can't get a word in, or you don't want to hear me.
Your words hurt my feelings,
as mine hurt yours.
Give and take, give and take,
leads us to having the same conversations
the very next day.
Harder and harder, I beat my head.
Sometimes with my fist, sometimes with metal objects and sometimes with my sharp fingernails digging holes beneath my scalp.
The sad, sad lady controlling the weather
known as Mother Nature,
doesn't always impact your feelings upon
what it feels like outside your window,
but the way you feel deep down within yourself.
