In the green grass
The delicate little flower
Starts to fall
Small, fragile
Losing peddles every hour
Each peddle
Slowly dying;
Sliding down, afraid
More peddles fall
Peddles gone by the wind
Leaves fall
On the ground
Almost gone
The leaves: cry
All winter
Gone until spring comes.
