God I hope you're listening,
I have some things I wanna say.
My faith in you is wavering,
But I promise to try and stay.
You love all of your creations,
Each and everyone.
But there's some things I'm going through,
Things I want to be done.
My heart is getting heavier,
Each day just gets worse and worse.
Dear lord I'm begging you,
Please take away the hurt.
I've tried staying strong,
And I've prayed for help from you.
But things are getting unbearable,
I'm afraid I'm not going to make it through.
Life is getting harder,
With each passing day.
And with my prayers going unanswered,
I feel I'm going astray.
I try to keep with my faith,
It's how I was raised to be.
But lord my faith is wavering,
I need you to save me.
Maybe it's a test,
To see if I'll stay by your side.
