Neon colors
Against a pallid sky
The sudden urge to cry
A wispy hug
Blanket of mist
Dead tress and forgotten meadows
Are all kissed
Lives passing by
On hurried roads
Faint words and
Musical despair
Flow in your ears
With an eloquent flare
The cold embrace
Of silent words
Never to truly be heard
Untold stories
Disappearing
With every second
It leaves you leering
Like lace covered swords
Beautifully cruel
The world weeps
Winter.
