Love to a Damaged Heart
A Distant host by Day
She Tiptoed through the halls
Careful to Wake the Monster
That lazily holed away
Agonized in Silence
The Solitary beckons-
Beckons her to Fall
The smoke begins to Claw
Tearing at her Soul
Chipped away and broken
By the Beating of the Day
Torture merely a pattern,
One to Unflinchingly withstand
By a heart Trapped to harden
But then
A hopeful call
Wretched through the Night
Breaking the Bond wound so Tight
Brings her Safely
From the Deathly Grasp
To hold and Love
What once was Dead
Becomes free in Flight
She Soars so High
A Sprouting love
Burst through her Heart
In the Shadows of the Night
The Sweetest touch
By el Amor de su Vida
Erased all pain
Bringing Light and Love
To a damaged Heart
