Fleeing the pain
The meanings behind your words spin
Like a tornado violently in my head.
Ripping and spitting on the walls that
built me up and
can tear me down.
You haunt my thoughts and now I’ve
become but a shell of my former self.
I try to hold on but my hands are slipping,
free from the tears I’ve shed.
It’s began to suck me in and
all that’s left is the memory of me and my tornado.
