As the leaves change
Bulky green apples ripen
“Crunch” says the childs teeth
And they chomp away
Round orange pumpkins
Guts out far and wide
“Squash” says the swelled feet
And they scamper away
Sizzling apple cider
Hawkish green tea
“Slurp” says the red solo cups
As the children drink
Prime apple pie
Giddy squash
“Mmmm” says the vibrating mouth
The grandparents sayr
