Take me somewhere,
Anywhere.
The air is brisk
And my mind is elsewhere.
Take me somewhere.
No where.
Anything is better
Than the smoke rings of my mind.
Take me somewhere.
I’m vanishing
Vanishing in the gray pillows of smoke
Inhabiting the place that my thoughts once called home.
Take me somewhere.
Back to the memories.
Now they are just ruins
It’s all in the forgotten past.
