Shadows
Shadows
The trees whisper my name in the cool windy night
I am frightened yet I continue to walk down the old dirt path
The dark night intakes me as I am slenced with fear
The trees look alive in the dark pale moon light
Every creature awakens as the full moon rises higher in the sky
I start to walk faster, faster, faster
All of a sudden I have reached a dead end in the dirt path
My head starts to spin in wonderous confusion as the torurous night takes over me
I see a dark figure behinde me, lurking, stalking, for I am being followed
I find another path then break into a sprint to get away from the dark night closing within me
I stop abruptly on the old dirt path, when a cold breeze sends an icy breeze sends a shiver up my spine
The dark lurking figure has caught up with me
I start to run, the faster I go the more my heart wants to burst out of its chest
Out from the under brush I run
Blinded by the inglicting pale moon light
Yet the figure is gone. Vanished, like it as never there to start with
Shadows.
