Daniella
we were the untold story
the two kids that had fallen in love.
in the worst place possible,
with little to no hope.
seeing you and thinking
wow.
yeah just wow,
you had smiled with pain and beauty
I saw what no one else did
because to everyone they saw
a girl dying.
I saw you,
the girl strangely addicted to jello.
red jello,
most days we would
just watch movies
let the time fly by
but we both knew the truth.
I began remission,
that's when things changed.
you changed,
chemo was painless
in comparison to seeing you
getting worse and losing that twinkle
of hope I always had seen.
soon enough,
they said no visitors.
only family,
that's when i lost you.
emotionally you were gone
I couldn't handle seeing this,
seeing you.
then one day,
i knew what they had to say.
the funeral,
everyone dressed in black
your parents broke down
seeing me and all i became
was a painful reminder.
that you,
were gone
and
I was
here.
