The Blackout
The wind is brisk again the window, pushing it to the limits, in the distance, the storm rolls around trying to find the courage to rumble through town. Lightning fills the sky, hear a crackle here and there. The what seemed to be lifeless sky is now luminated with a light show. The wind picking up trash and blowing it through the road. The view from the window starts to become distorted, the rain has arrived, leaving the lighting in the dust. It pounds against the window soon becoming the only sound you can hear, then the lightning arrived, crash. The sky lightened. Then black.
