The extinction of my Happy Endings
Im sick
Im sick of all of this
Do Happy Ending no longer exist?
I read a book
I read two
I read all there is to
And Im sad,
They all leave me hollow
They all leave me crushed,
with nothing to Follow.
And its that black feeling of doom,
That all authors pursue,
that Crushes you inside,
Even if its fictional,
A Lie.
So I protest,
Why make all this mess,
just to Hurt.
I read for pleasure,
for that feeling of floating
And I know drama is needed,
And I know it all has a point,
a Theme
A Bigger Meaning,
But why do we have so little of them,
of those wonderful Happy Endings?
Why do people call them sappy?
Fake
Why does everyone think that Happy Endings just exist in movies
I believe,
I believe that everyone is presented with challenges,
I don’t know who sends them to us,
God
Fate
Our own actions,
But what I do know is that those challenges are what shape your life
Your Happy Ending
Those sad endings in books,
Aren’t really an ending,
They are just a challenge
Impending
Awaiting
Creating
a Happy Ending

I wrote it after reading this really amazing book that left me really confused about what I felt and what I thought about that ending.
