Black
There is a pretty smile on a young girl that is facing pain. Yet everyone thinks she is fine. That young girl that seems so strong isn't so strong anymore. Her heart has been torn into a million pieces as she said goodbye to her friend she won't see again until she goes six feet under. She stands there hopeless and lost as she wonders why God took a girl at such a young age. Why she had to go through all that pain. Now all she sees is black and there is no more color in her eyes. Left speechless by such an event, all she can do is cry until they meet again.

What inspired me to write this piece is the lost of my friend. Not knowing how to deal with the emotions, I started writing and I ended up with a piece that has so much meaning to me.
