Who is she
staring back at me?
I’ve seen this face before
but its now changed
Her smile doesn’t shine as bright.
Her eyes are heavy with despair.
Her heart pounds with regret
as tears begin to flow
She rues the day
it all changed her.
She rues her choices
that changed her.
Who is she that looks back at me?
I’ve seen that face before but now it’s changed.
Innocence is lost, she was the cost
and now she looks at me differently
Who is she?
I is she.
Staring back at me.
