When you are young and free
Your mind begins to run
The wind starts blowing and you are having so much fun
You go on many adventures and you try different things
You find out what life about when you’re just a teen.
Being a teen isn't as easy as it was
It comes with many trick and treat with every door you open
You believe in superstitions and you believe in first love
You wonder round and round until you just give up
And at the weakest moment you find the perfect one
Who tears your heart to pieces and leaves you in the sun
You start to feel the beams right though your very skin. They say don't look directly but you say it’s not a sin.
You hope for love, you pray for peace and the rest you just pretend.
As the hope runs dry and peace has died and you wait for your prayers to be answered
you search the town to look around and you look to check the time.
It seems the moment is gone and the summer is over and some how your life has just began.
