She looked at her self like no one else did
She covered her arms to hide her scars from her past
She lied to her friends about her life
She never felt good enough
No one understood why
People saw the beautiful shy girl
They saw an intelligent young girl
They saw a girl that never gave up even when the times got tough
But what nobody knew about her was that she was hurt
She was depressed
She hated herself
She never felt good enough
But all that was hidden within a smile
One single smile
One smile can change someone’s day
It could even change their whole week

This poem is lovely. I strive to make other people's lives a bit better; every word is important. Be careful of what you say. This poem and @gpayne20 are making a difference in someone else's life.
