To Find the Light
There I was, drowning in a deep, dark hole
Full of fear and skepticism, the unknown, anger, and want
With insight of the light,
A cavern dug for myself using the tools of sorrow and self pity.
Not seeing a finish line,
On winding road that is lonely and dark.
A life with no meaning just going through the motions,
Until you see that light,
That light and it was vibrant and bright
Brings you warmth,
While people come beside you as brother and sisters
To help you through this road we call life
And get out of the hole you dug for yourself
To show the way through the path
Give meaning to your life
Learn to be selfless and part of a community.
Supports you for you
The light is found through true companionship
