Oh,
it shall be a rough night
There is much to be done,
Many subjects to conquer.
Pulling the mighty pen out of its sheath,
and wielding it—as proper students do—
I prepare myself for battle.
I shall take down the snowy mountain city of
Kem Icetree
Riding in on my noble laptop,
horses hooves hitting the packed once-white snow
--now red with blood
Colonel Google by my side,
I slay stoic worksheet
after stoic worksheet.
I am victorious.
But there is still much to be done,
roads untraveled, books unopened
with confidence, I gather up
my most loyal binders and calculators,
and head to the Scottish doldrums of
Stood Aye-in
But alas, my faulty phone has awoken
the dreaded Beast
So fowl, so distracting
They call it
Instagram.

We put forth a valiant effort,
twas all for naught.
My men lay scattered,
crumpled and disheveled,
across the desk, simply pushed aside
by that nasty, snarling creature
I could not win,
The ghastly monster beheaded me.
Soon a new leader
will arrive, next morning
Riding in on a fierce steed
ready to tackle the French fishing village of
Lang-oo-ajé Artes
She shall carry
the greatest armor
any high-schooler has ever dreamed of!
Focus.
That phone shall be destroyed
without hesitation, and no more
shall it be a burden.
That aside—
We just have to look out for
El YouTublay.
