My thoughts are stars I can't fathom into constellations -"The Fault In Our Stars" by John Green

Your existance is insignificant.

It's not that you don't matter,

Just if you weren't here,

It wouldn't make a difference.

This world,

This world will never stop spinning.

The cosmos will forever be chaotic.

The planets will never be aligned.

Your existance is insignificant.

The moon,

The moon will always have a dark side.

Comets will never stop orbiting the sun.

The Milky Way will always be the home to the rest of us.

Your existance is insignificant.

It's not that you don't matter,

Time,

Time will continue to be alive in the universe.

Matter will always be a constant reminder, we exist.

Light will continue traveling faster than anything.

Your existance is insignificant.

It's not that you don't matter,

Just if you weren't here,

The stars,

The stars will forever be perfect.

The universe will continue to grow.

The suns will forever burn.

Your existance is insignificant.

It's not that  you don't matter,

Just if you weren't here,

It wouldn't make a difference.

The author's comments:

If you don't notice, there is a significant pattern in this poem that I had spent a lot of time and work into. This poem means alot to me and I'm not expecting people to be happy with what I have written becuase it is a hard subject and idea but if you really think about it, "Your existance is insignificant" it speaks alot of truth.
