From the Heavens
As the clouds are drawn in the tide,
Across the rolling waters of the blue sky,
The birds swim in the effervescent waters,
Aeroplanes brave the turbulent seas of the skies.
They gather in the deep,
Forces combined,
Mother Nature wrings out her sponge,
And the clouds fall from the heavens,
They fall, as rain.

This work was inspired as I looked out of the window while it was raining, and I was in awe of the majestic and underappreciated ways of rain.
