????
"You're beautiful" is what the brick wall says
As the young girl passes by
But her mind thinks otherwise
As the world is filled with lies

Bright, bright screens fill her days-
As the image of perfection is thrown her way.
The edited pixels touched as in a craze
And all she could think is that her face is different and she feels her destiny was betrayed.

And she watches the days go by
And all you could hear are her insecure sighs
But it's not her fault if she let her surrounding world decide-
-Decide whats beautiful that would someday make her cry.

Staring out the window paine, she watched the world passing by-
And she felt an inner high.
And to all the dark thoughts in her mind, she said good-bye-
For a malefluous voice entranced her and cried:

But beauty is not defined by an industry
Nor by the cover of big, bright screens
And most definitely not by the constant media stream
Or by the fake faces plastered throughout streets.

Beauty is being perfectly imperfect.
It is enveloping a unique soul of your own
And letting your dazzling crinkled eyes create a lasting effect
And the glow of all natural skin tones.

Beauty is the willowing of old age
And the years of lasting friendships.
-It is the toothy grin of happiness escaped from an old cage
And the messy locks blowing through the wind on an open road trip.

And as the young girl sat watching
The suns translucent rays caught her thoughts
And she saw beauty everywhere, just knocking
And she finally realized that beauty was everything, and the world her own lot.

"You're beautiful" is what the brick wall says
As the young girl passes by-
And this time she's wise,
And she knows the wall tells no lies.
