It’s funny how
Days ago
She was laughing,
So in love.
Her eyes shined,
And her smile grew,
And happiness was something
She now knew.
It’s funny how
He changed her world
From bright to dark
And back again.
She knew hatred
Though she learned to love.
But in a second’s time,
It was gone.
It’s funny how
He’s ran away
So long ago,
But her heart still stays.
