Waves
Waves
They come
And then they go
But eventually they
Find their way back to shore
Always managing to find their way
Back to where they belong
Surrounded by waves
Waves like them
Waves
Some are big
And some small
Some are in the middle
Still deciding what they want
Or maybe they’ll just be both big
And small at the same time
But that choice is up
To themselves
Waves
They’re envious
Of all of human-kind
How we get to move freely
In as many ways as we want to
For these many sad waves
They only get to go
Back and forth
Waves
They flow
With the tide
And with the ocean
They move on their own
But in the end they are always
Forever and endlessly
Bound to the ocean
Oh these poor
Waves
