you can apologize all you want
but the sting and the venom in the words in which you spoke that shook my body and rocked my boat still course though my veins with no escape trapped forever in my humble estate
the knife now lays stained in the rich lies you told
protection
trust
love
corrupted
with the two simple words that tumbled out of your mouth like a gust of the unrelenting wind
