The Cry of Anger
Anger is a warrior fueled to fight with a trigger, a command, some force
He then unleashes hidden power that he didn’t even knew he had
Anger is battle cry of his army after he is slaughtered
It is present in their tears, their revenge, and their anguish
Anger is each painful whiplash that strokes the helpless prisoners of war
It is the tariffs that the enslaved people are forced to pay instead of daily meals
Anger is the fire that engulfs each village of conquest
Each flame obliterating years of love, compassion, and hard labor
Anger is every war fought today,
Every drop of blood from gunshots of genocide
Every death from hunger
Every disgusting act of terrorism
Every child compelled to live another day without his parents
Every murder of a psychopathic killer ravenous for the thrill
Anger is the most powerful emotion, for it provokes revenge and permanently scars the strongest of humanity.

I wrote this piece when I was angry, when I was upset, and when I needed to lock myself away in my room to calm down. With that in mind, I hope that this piece inspires people to share their emotions and use writing as a method to do so.
