We were going to be friends forever
Just the three of us
Sharing every secret and crush
Time traveling in the Magic Tree House while saving Merlin
Becoming witches attending Hogwarts and defeating Lord Voldemort
Explorers crossing the treacherous chasm of molten lava on a fallen tree
Always together
But as the seasons passed
We grew apart
Like trees planted together but split as they reached for the sun
With no way to come back to each other
