Hopeless.
I could write a million letters to you,
lavish them like Shakespeare.
I dont think that would please you.

I could be whomever you admired,
perhaps even more.
Then who would love you?

I've given you the world, moon, and stars,
yet now you want the sun.
I've poured my heart out and then some.
You reject what little that is.

My world is gone.
My heart is gone.
You still want more than me, and what little I have left to give.
Now my love is gone.

There is nothing left for me to give to you.
My sweet companion, how ugly your heart is.
How gruesome and grotesque you have become.

I am gone now, and so are you.
You have found another to leech onto.
Like a child to their mothers side.

Nobody can compare to you, once lovely now bitter.
Just like a piece of candy
that I can no longer enjoy.
