shatter
December 15, 2014
my soul cracked
pristine clear water glass
spidery veins
showcasing my lack of
strength
& the lifeless weight
i drag around
the glass slips
flesh rips,
i'm broken
shattered again.

very nice imagery, quaint, sad, the best way I can describe it is like, & mind my crudeness; that I'm waiting for the "you know what" to hit the fan, like everything is breaking & all you can do is watch it happen. those moments you remember in slow motion, just waiting for the other shoe to drop...

This is absolutely, beautiful. It's short yet beautiful and specific and filled with emotion. It's filled with precision and beauty and talent and emotion and descriptiveness. It's beautiful because it's something you wrote, an art that you made that means something that is wonderful for it has honesty in it too. You also put yourself into it, too. You are a wonderful and amazing and talented and beautiful writer and person, filled with talent and greatness and light and beauty; and so much more. Thank you so much, my friend! For sharing this. :)

The emotions this poem represents and evokes are incredible, every word perfectly representing the poems story. it resonates as an honest and relatable piece of work but also feels like an individual's perspective that cannot be replicated. Every time I read it I feel the pain and regret as well as the guilt. Inspiring work.
