Hordes fall, breathe, heave
As they pace through ceaseless massifs
Experiencing no thrill and feeling no agony
They are faceless, mindless, nameless
Creatures of thee.

This one bears no name, and holds no better fate
Than that who has no face and holds no destiny
They over there clasp no plans to cherish and preserve,
Grasp at no ambitions but to exist inextinguishably

The meanders of their souls on seething slopes
Decays novelty, expunges ingenuity.
A stop in the road, a pioneer’s dream
Disguise, pretense, veil! I cry

Nameless, faceless, featureless, fearless
Detached from all and attached to none
The undistinguished fade to naught
They exist no longer.

Nameless, faceless, featureless, fearless
Creatures sailing
Into the waters of Lethe
