The ocean is flat as a board it looks like a lake,
there aren't any waves and barely a wake.
Children play and chill in the sand,
search for shells and dig with their hands.
Snorkelers swim by the inlet rocks,
viewing creatures of the deep.
Fishermen cast their line from the rocks,
reel it in then do it again.
Surfers relax on the beach as well,
while anticipating the next big swell.
