You've got me some what addicted like you're some kind of drug. We can't ever be restricted, you've got me hooked for life. It's this feeling when I have you that lets me know I can't live without you. I can't get sober, I can't get clean, not even intervention could make me give you up. It's like I just can't get enough. No matter what anyone says they can't change how much to me you mean. I'd spare my life for you. Even though you keep me in a haze, I know I have to have you for the rest of my days.

What inspired me to write this piece is a friend of mine. People have always told me to stay away from him and that I shouldn't be friends with him, but they never knew who he really was. Who he was then and who he is now is the same person I have always loved. What I want people to understand is that we all have things we hold on to and cherish no matter how much it may destroy us or how hazardous they may seem.
