Showing a Salute to the American Flag

You were just little kid,
That wanted to play tag,
Now you are a big kid,
Showing a salute to the american flag.
The day you left with a big smile,
I was happy gor you,
But after awhile,
I didn't know what to do.
You are pursuing your dreams,
but it seems,
its been a year,
Everyday rolls a tear.
A family waiting for you,
As you fight for our countries freedom,
We all hope for you,
And hope god will reason.
We are waiting for your return,
Hoping the tables will not turn,
You are my life,
Love, your beloved wedded wife.
