A Bit More Time
When I hear the news,
I bubble with excitement.
When we leave,
I just can’t wait
To see all the character
That I have seen on TV.
When I get there,
The wind is blowing and the trees are swaying.
The sunshine in the distance.
I smell the saltiness of the ocean breeze
When we are getting closer the park,
I can see the rides over the trees.
I hear the laughter of the people.
I smell the fried and sugary dough.
When we enter the park,
There so many rides,
I don’t know where to start.
When I finally pick a ride,
I notice it very high.
I decide to go somewhere else
I find another ride,
The line is too long.
I didn’t want to wait for a long time
So I leave.
Then when I finally pick a ride,
The line is not too long.
It doesn’t take long to ride.
When I about to go find another ride,
It's already time to go.
When we leave,
I just wish I enjoy it a little more
Than I did before.
