White Dream
You appeared in my dream last night
A room full of white
You sat there as if you knew my troubles
Before I arrived
I sat and talked
And we talked
The words you spoke made me want
To curl in your arms
Every word was as if
You carved it in stone
So beautifully spoken
Just for me
Saying what was right
To make me warm inside
Those words were all perfection
But those moments were only in a dream
Once I awoke
With a new mindset
I cried
Knowing that the man sitting
In the room full of white
Was not you at all
But what I wish you were

This poem was inspired by a dream of mine. I just hope for others to enjoy it.
