Without Hope
Without Hope
Catch me, quick
The conspiracy of life is gravitating me
Towards the center of nothing
Nothing is something.
And I want to feel something.
Not the reluctant hours you put into one moment
Just to watch it fail
Not the time you looked in the mirror
And saw endless flaws
Waiting for perfection
No one wants to feel that
But what about the time you relied on hope?
You stared at the never-ending clock of desperation
Waiting for it to stop
But it never did
Where is hope when we need it?
Without out it, what is left?
Hope is flower
A dead flower
And the petals seamlessly fall to the ground
Unaware, they fly away leaving nothing
We are nothing without hope.
