Tybee Island
Blue ocean water tinted with green rushes in as water hit the shore.
The sand dotted with colored seashells.
I walk along the shore trying not to let the waves soak my shoes.
The burning sun in the bright, blue sky shine on the people playing on the beach.
Dark shadows of people dance around the sand.
The morning light shone on the sand making it sparkle like a million diamonds.
Joyful sounds of laugher and shouting from the people around me fill the air.
Sounds of feet pounding against the sandy ground as the guys play football.
The calls of seagulls flying above us.
I wonder what other treasures are buried beneath these sands?
What can we explore and find on this land?
What does the sunset look from here?
Peacefulness washes over me as I listen to the ocean waves crash against the shore.
Gritty, soft sand falling from my hands as I look for the precious shells they are hiding.
The strong breeze blowing against my skin as the feeling of calmness takes me over.
