I am from playing with plastic tea party sets, drinking creamy Mango Lassi, and spending my  time at our Phillips 66.
I am from High School Musical, singing and dancing to "I Want it All" with Krinal and Vishay.
I am from sweet candy Altoids that came home with my dad every morning and were  completely empty by the time he left for work in the afternoon.

I am from renting a big speedboat on Lake Allatoona every summer just before school began.
From stressing about sharks in the lake while zooming across the green water so fast it splashes  back on us.
Dad's laugh roars in the air after every one of his witty and abstruse jokes.

I am from Nicki Phia's exhilarating Fanta floats, Jalissa's sweet Caramel Flan, and our Phillips  66's bitter Warheads.
I am from copying every move Krinal made, landing us both in trouble.
I am from building forts with all of the chairs, blankets, and pillows around; Krinal,Vishay, and I  left no place uncovered.

I am from a big first birthday bash at Mirch Masala just before we bought it and opened the  doors for business.
From wearing an oversized purple chaniya choli and a gold charm bracelet as we cheerfully celebrated my first year.
Relatives exclaim unique birthday wishes all night long to the "birthday baby".

I am from spending  the 4th of July at the Mall of Georgia, celebrating birthday parties at
Skate-a-Long USA, and enjoying Christmas in Tennessee with family members from every state.
I am from eating Bagel Bites in Canada, the warm and inviting smell fills the room as we arrive  from Camp Extravaganza.
I am from candle light lunches at Knight Elementary, the soft music from the piano lingers in the      otherwise silent cafeteria.

I am from long ballet nights, exciting days at the Aquarium, and adventurous weeks at Daytona  Beach.
I am from the 5th grade Reader's Rally team, sounds of buzzers float in the air followed by a  brief answer.
I am from riding a big purple bike all day and all night long, a soft breeze hits my face and  forces a smile that will not leave.

My childhood memories are like pieces of a mosaic.
They each are unique and a small part of a bigger, more beautiful picture; each piece holds a    special meaning that sums up my life.
My memories hold a special place in my heart and in who I am.
