Donuts and Coffee
There is a lovely smell of coffee.
Staring at all the donuts,
you might feel a bit naughty.
All the Christmas-y drinks;
they bring a feeling of joy.
We place our order,
and the person says, “enjoy!”
She hands over a box of donuts,
along with peppermint drinks.
We go into the car.
On the seat, the box sinks.
Still with the smell of coffee.
I put on my seat belt,
with a feeling of happy.

The smell of coffee with donuts brings back good memories of when I was younger.
