Tybee Island
"Tybee Island"
Luna Morrison
Tall waves crash against the shore.
White seagulls fly around the clear, blue sky.
Small, colorful shells litter the sandy ground.
Sapphire blue water glitters under the bright sun.
Midday sunlight reflects on crystal blue water, making it shimmer.
The bright sunlight shines down on the straw-colored sand.
Light casts on the plastic of forgotten water bottles.
Why do people think it is okay to litter on this beach?
The sounds of birds chirping saturates the air.
Loud talking and laughing is heard throughout the beach.
I can hear the aquamarine waves crashing against the sandy shore.
Tybee Island takes the stress away from me.
It infuses me with jubilation as I listen to the calm sound of waves crashing.
How can anyone feel stressed at a beach like this?
Peaceful
Peaceful
Peaceful!
